Call for Papers:
We are pleased to share the Second Call for Papers for the 7th
International Conference of the Tibeto-Burman Linguistics Association
of North East India (ICTiBLANEI-7), to be held at Gauhati University,
Guwahati, Assam, India, from 7 to 9 April 2027. The new deadline for
abstract submission is 18th of October, 2026.
We invite contributions on a wide range of areas in Tibeto-Burman
linguistics, including, but not limited to:
1. Phonetics and Phonology
2. Morphology
3. Syntax
4. Semantics
5. Discourse pragmatics
6. Sociolinguistics
7. Anthropological Linguistics
8. Cognitive Linguistics
9. Historical Linguistics
10. Lexicography
11. Typology
12. Corpus Linguistics
13. Applied Linguistics
14. Language Documentation
15. Language Endangerment and Revitalization
16. Field reports
Submission Instructions:
Please submit an abstract of no more than 500 words (excluding data
and references, if any). Your abstract should be anonymous. Please do
not include any identifying information, such as your name,
affiliation, etc. Please write your abstract using only Times New
Roman, 12pt. Kindly upload your abstract preferably as an MS Word
document (i.e. doc or docx format) using the following link:

Please submit your abstract by 18th of October, 2026. Notification of
acceptance will be sent out in early November.
