Focus: The program is designed for undergraduate and graduate
students, researchers, professors, and others who wish to make
substantial progress in modern Persian. Participants should have an
upper-elementary, lower-intermediate, or intermediate level of Persian
before beginning the program.
Classes are held Monday through Friday, with four hours of Persian
language instruction per day.
The curriculum focuses on:
Grammar
Vocabulary
Listening comprehension
Speaking
Writing
Reading
Participants work with a wide range of authentic materials, including
contemporary and literary texts, prose, poetry, news, films, songs,
conversations, and materials related to Iranian culture and society.
Description:
ASPIRANTUM – Armenian School of Languages and Cultures invites
applications for its 2026–2027 Persian Language Winter School in
Yerevan, Armenia, taking place from November 29, 2026, to February 5,
2027.
Participants may choose a program lasting 2 to 10 weeks, corresponding
to 40–200 hours of intensive Persian language instruction. Flexible
starting dates are available throughout December 2026 and January
2027.
