Hello! Our research team at McGill University's Bilingualism,
Experience, and Education (B.E.E.) Lab is inviting parents to
participate in a research study about parents' language experiences
and children's multilingual development, supported by the Daniel and
Monica Gold Centre for Early Childhood Development.
We are looking for parents:
- aged 18 or older
- have at least one child aged 4–7
- live in the Greater Montreal or Greater Toronto Area
- speak/understand at least one heritage language*
- speak/understand English or French
*Heritage language in this study refers to languages other than
English and French
Participation involves a 25-minute online questionnaire.
Upon completion, participants will be entered into a raffle for a $20
Tim Hortons gift card (1 in 6 chance).
If you are interested or have any questions, please scan the QR code
in this link (https://little-river-996.linkyhost.com), or email
beelab.ecp at mcgill.ca with “Parents' Language Study” as the subject
line.
Your experiences and perspectives can help us better understand and
support multilingual families in Canada. Thank you for considering
participating, and feel free to share this post with other families
who may be interested!
