Subject: New Italian Online Periodical on Sensory Linguistics and Perception

La trama dei sensi is a new Italian-language periodical devoted to the
relationships between perception, language, and culture.
Edited by independent researcher Marco Perugini, the project brings
together sensory research, linguistics, literature, and cultural
analysis, with particular attention to sensory lexicon, naming,
memory, multisensory experience, and the cultural representation of
perception.
The first issue, Oltre i cinque sensi. L’olfatto come laboratorio
della percezione (“Beyond the Five Senses: Olfaction as a Laboratory
of Perception”), includes contributions on sensory classification,
olfactory naming, smell and memory, multisensory reading, lexical
semantics, and olfaction in Italian crime fiction.
