This is not specifically a linguistics event, but it is very relevant
to researchers in any humanities and social sciences disciplines who
would like to demystify the book peer review process.
How does book peer review work?
In this workshop, two experienced Oxford University Press editors will
offer both an overview of formal processes, including:
- A behind-the-scenes look at how peer reviews help support
publishers’ processes
- A set of practical tips for early career researchers writing book
proposals
- What publishers look for in peer reviews
- Q&A time
Please note that this event will be recorded, and all registrants will
be notified once the recording is available for viewing.
