What is the REFLECTIONS online talk series?
Syntactic theory in the generative framework has been developing for
the past 70 years. After exploring its foundations for three exciting
years, we are switching to a new theme: Structure Building in Syntax
and Beyond. To facilitate our exploration of this topic, we have
invited scholars in the field to reflect on structure building,
primarily focusing on syntax but also in related areas, such as
phonology and morphology. We invite you to engage with us in this
exciting process! REFLECTIONS talks have a 2-hour slot, with a talk
lasting around one hour, followed by questions and discussion.
Early-career linguists have priority for questions. Partial attendance
is welcome as well.
