NanoTrees is a free, open-source syntax tree editor for linguists that
runs in the browser.
Key features, to my knowledge, not available in other tree editors:
- Synchronized visual and code editing.
- Multiple trees on a single canvas.
- Export to SVG, PNG, PDF, and LaTeX in one tool.
- Automatic compositional semantics.
- Automatic, step-by-step Nanosyntactic spellout derivations from a
user-defined lexicon, with 8 spellout algorithm configurations
available.
- Extensive customization, from the entire canvas down to individual
elements.
Planned: automatic Agree, based on the structural positions and number
of probes and goals.
