Podcasts, Talk Formats, Livestreams: Methodological Approaches to
Mediatized (Verbal) InteractionThe conference explores public,
mediatized talk formats (such as podcasts, video talks, and
livestreams) where private conversational forms, public addressing,
and media publication overlap. We invite contributions from
linguistic, conversation-analytic, media-linguistic, interactional,
and multimodal perspectives.
Call for Papers:
We welcome proposals for:
- Presentations: 20-minute talk + 10-minute discussion (abstract max.
400 words)
- Data Sessions: 60 minutes (short project description & data
introduction)
Submission Deadline: November 1, 2026
Conference Languages: German and English (discussions will primarily
take place in German)
