The 10th International Conference on Maltese Linguistics will be held
in Gozo, Malta and is jointly organised by Michael Spagnol and Jessica
Nieder of the University of Malta, together with the Malta Centre. The
main theme of the conference is: No Language is an Island: Maltese in
Contact & Context.

Stefano Manfredi
Alena Witzlack-Makarevich
We invite abstracts for oral and poster presentations on all areas of
Maltese linguistics, including contributions focusing on Maltese in
relation to other languages. Abstracts should not exceed 300 words.
The length of oral presentations will be announced at a later stage.
The conference language is English, and all abstracts will be reviewed
by the programme committee. Please send abstracts to
maltacentremt at gmail.com.
Deadline for abstract submission: 10th December 2026
Notification of acceptance: 31st January 2027
