Call for Panel Proposals: VIII EDiSo Symposium (Salamanca 2027)
The call for panel proposals (open and closed) for the VIII EDiSo
Symposium—taking place at the University of Salamanca from June 9–11,
2027—opens on Tuesday, September 1. Panels are 2-hour thematic
sessions consisting of presentation papers followed by a discussion.
Submission Deadline: October 1, 2026
Panel Modalities:
Open Panels: Requires a title, a 400-word abstract (excluding
references), and 4 keywords.
Closed Panels: Requires a title, a 400-word abstract (excluding
references), 4 keywords, and the names of participants (maximum of 5
people, including the discussant).
Submission Process & Selection:
Submission Portal: Submit via ConfTool at www.conftool.net/ediso2027 >
Contribuciones.
Capacity: A total of 4 closed panels and 2 open panels will be
selected to accommodate other presentation formats (roundtables and
individual communications).
Evaluation Criteria:
 - Contribution to the symposium's core theme: Linguistic-discursive
(de)memorization
 - Novelty of the proposal
 - Quality of the thematic panel
 - Coherence
 - Potential to foster dialogue and discussion around the proposed
topic
