We are please to announce that the final programme of the Giornate
Italiane di Linguistica Sperimentale  (GILS) is now available on the
GILS website: https://www.unive.it/web/it/17646/home.
The GILS will be held at Ca' Foscari University of Venice, the 5th and
6th November 2026, in Aula Magna Silvio Trentin (Ca’ Dolfin). The
event will focus on experimental research in Italy in the fields of
theoretical and applied linguistics, psycholinguistics, computational
linguistics and artificial intelligence applied to language, language
acquisition, sociolinguistics and historical linguistics.
We are also pleased to announce our keynote speakers: Professor
Giovanna Marotta (Università di Pisa), Professor Paolo Mairano
(Université de Tours), Professor Giosuè Baggio (Norwegian University
of Science Technology, Trondheim) and Professor Cristiano Chesi (IUSS
Pavia).
