CALL FOR WORKHOPS

TALN 2002 will be held at Nancy on June 24 - 27 2002, organized by the
ATILF linguistic Laboratory (CNRS Nancy 2 University) and the LORIA
Computer science Laboratory (CNRS, INRIA, Nancy Universities)

TALN 2002 is organized in collaboration with ATALA (Association pour le
Traitement Automatique des LAngues) and will be held jointly with the young
researcher conference RECITAL 2002 and Speech conference JEP 2002 (call for
papers at http://www.loria.fr/projets/TALN )

The TALN Workhops will be held at Nancy on June 27 2002

CALENDAR
Submission deadline: January 31 2002
TALN committee programme decision: February 8 2002
Final version due (camera-ready): May 11 2002

The workshops are centred on a specific topic of the TALN conference, with
a specific president and a specific programme committee. The TALN
organizers will provide a room, coffee-breaks, lunches and proceedings. The
workshops will run in parallel with the tutorials on one to four sessions
of 1 hour 30.

SUBMISSION PROCEDURE
Authors should send their submission as a file attached to an e-mail to
taln2002 at loria.fr, before January 31 2002, with the following information:
topic of the workshop, the programme committee and the desired number of
sessions (1 to 4 sessions).
The TALN programme committee will choose between these proposals, according
to the available room at the conference, before February 8 2002.

FORMAT
Papers will be in French (or in English for non francophone speakers).
Papers, in Times 12, single-spaced, should not exceed 10 pages, including
figures, examples and references.
