POSTE DE PROFESSEUR EN TRADUCTION

L'ETI sollicite des candidatures a un poste de professeur adjoint a
temps plein menant a la permanence.

1. Domaine : Informatique et traduction et un interet tout particulier
pour un ou l'autre des domaines suivants : traduction technique,
traduction generale.

2. Taches : Enseignement aux trois cycles, en français et/ou en
anglais, selon les besoins de l'ETI.  Recherche.  Responsabilites
administratives.

3. Criteres d'admissibilite : Doctorat ou l'equivalent et
publications.  L'experience de l'enseignement universitaire et
la connaissance d'une troisieme langue seront des atouts. Une
experience professionnelle est egalement souhaitable. Ce poste
s?adresse autant aux francophones qu'aux anglophones.

4. Salaire : Selon la convention collective.

DATE DE CLÔTURE : 1er decembre 2002.

ENTREE EN FONCTION : 1er juillet 2003.

TEACHING POSITION IN TRANSLATION

The STI invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position,
with the rank of Assistant Professor.

1. Field Computers and translation and special interest in one or more
of the following areas: technical translation, general translation.

2. Tasks The successful applicant will be required to teach at both
graduate and undergraduate levels in English and/or in French,
according to the needs of the School. The applicant will be expected
to carry out research and participate in administrative duties.

3. Qualifications Doctorate or equivalent and publications. Experience
in university teaching and the knowledge of a third language are
definite advantages.  Professional experience would also be
desirable. English speaking as well as French speaking applicants will
be considered.

4. Salary In accordance with the collective agreement.
