Appel: Centre Tesniere's Research Days on Translation and/or Modelling for MT

Call for propositions for Centre Tesniere's Research Days on
Translation and/or Modelling for Machine Translation,

Thursday and Friday 27 and 28 March 2003, Besancon, France.

Two consecutive days are to be organised with oral presentations of
papers of 30 minutes dealing with translation and/or modelling for
machine translation.

The themes to be addressed during the two days are:
1. The principal difficulties in human and machine translation
2. Modelling for machine translation
3. The formal representation of linguistic data which cause
   difficulties for machine translation

Propositions, presentations and papers can be in either English or
French.

Propositions of one page, 12 font, single interline, format MS Word or
RTF should be sent by attached file to:

The deadline for propositions is 25 February 2003.

Accepted papers will be published in the Bulag.

The deadline for completed papers is 15 June 2003. The format of

Appel à participation aux journees du Centre Tesnière jeudi et
vendredi 27 et 28 mars 2003

"Traductibilité et modélisation"

Deux journees consécutives seront organisees avec des communications
de 20 à 30 minutes traitant de traductibilite et/ou modélisation

Seront acceptées des propositions sur

1.les principales difficultés de la traduction humaine et/ou automatique
2.la modélisation pour le traitement automatique de la traduction
3.la représentation formelle de données qui posent problème lors de la
traduction automatique.

Les propositions de communications (une page caractère 12, interligne
1 en format RTF ou doc) devront parvenir avant le 25 février 2003 à

Les articles qui paraitront au Bulag devront parvenir avant le 15
