5th SIGdial Workshop on Discourse and Dialogue

CALL FOR DEMOS
The deadline for demo submissions is March 29, 2004. We solicit demo
presentations of speech and/or natural language systems with discourse
or dialog/conversation capabilities. We welcome researchers who wish
to present demos using discourse and dialogue in a wide range of
efforts (including, for example, corpora annotation, reference
resolution systems, discourse act parser, tutorial systems, embodied
conversational characters, meeting room agents, spoken language agents
interacting via telephone, help agents, humanoid robots conversing
with people, etc.).

STUDENT VOLUNTEEERS
We are looking for student volunteers who would help at the
registration desk (among other duties) in exchange for free
registration. This is not a full-time job but you may miss a session
