The European Language Resources Association (ELRA) is a non-profit
making organisation founded by the European Commission in 1995, with
the mission of providing a clearing house for language resources and
promoting Human Language Technologies.  The Evaluations and Language
resources Distribution Agency (ELDA) is ELRA's operational body. ELDA
identifies, collects, markets, evaluates and distributes language
resources, and organises the evaluation of HLT, along with the
dissemination of general information in the field of HLT.

**Project Manager, specializing in written language processing**

The project manager will be responsible for the development and
coordination of specific activities of HLT evaluation at ELDA in the
framework of national and international projects, namely on written
language processing (information retrieval/extraction, terminology
extraction, machine translation, multilingual alignment,
summarization, etc.).

Profile :

- Advanced degree in computer science, computational linguistics,
library and information science, knowledge management or similar
fields ;

- Good knowledge of the evaluation programmes in Europe, the US and
Japan ;

- Experience in project management, including the management of
European projects ;

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team ;

- Proficiency in English.

country.

Salary : Commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Dans le contexte des activités d'évaluation des technologies de
traitement de la langue écrite, ELDA a des postes à pourvoir dans son
département d'évaluation :

**Chef de projet en évaluation, spécialité technologies de traitement
de la langue écrite***

Le candidat aura la responsabilité de développer et coordonner les
activités d'évaluation dans le cadre de projets nationaux et
internationaux, notamment pour ce qui concerne le traitement de
l'écrit (systèmes de recherche et extraction d'informations,
question/réponse, extraction de terminologie, traduction automatique,
alignement multilingue, résumé automatique, etc.).

Profil :

- Bac+5 minimum en ingénierie linguistique, informatique, TALN,
linguistique informatique, gestion d'informations etc. ;

- Expérience des projets/actions d'évaluation en Europe, aux USA et au
Japon ;

- Expérience en gestion de projet au niveau national et européen ;

- Expérience en encadrement et coordination du personnel technique ;

- Anglais courant indispensable.

Ce poste est à pourvoir TRES rapidement et est basé à Paris
(déplacements ponctuels possibles). Les candidats doivent avoir la
nationalité d'un pays de l'Union Européenne (ou un permis de séjour et
de travail).
