J'aimerais vous faire parvenir des offres de stages. 

Cela concerne : 

1.	un Linguiste si possible de langue maternelle anglaise.
2.	un Linguiste parlant le Chinois Mandarin. 

 

Il s'agit de participer à l'adaptation d'un analyseur syntaxique
(initialement en Français) pour l'Anglais et le Mandarin.

 

VirtuOz SA (www.virtuoz.fr <http://www.virtuoz.fr/> ), la société que
je représente, utilise des techniques extrêmement récentes en TAL.

Notre analyseur syntaxique est très performant.

Nous commercialisons des agents conversationnels (interface de
dialogue Homme-Machine en mode « chat ») sur des sites web marchands.

Voici un résumé des deux offres : 

 

1. English Linguist 

We are looking for a linguist to participate to the launching of a
chatterbot in English.

Collaborating with the Head of the Linguistics Department at VirtuOz
SA, you will be in charge of :

- enriching the linguistic resources already available in English

- adding new grammar rules in order to improve the parser

- translating and adapting the dialogs settings of an existing
chatterbot from French into English.

 

You must have a very good command of English, including syntactic
knowledge.

You are familiar with Natural Language Processing (NLP), or you are
sensible to Computational Linguistics.

Practical sense, creativity and seriousness would be appreciated.

 

Two ideal qualifications would be : 

An English mother tongue Student, learning French typically in French
"FLE" or "LEA" courses, who can prove past experiences in
Computer Science or Linguistics.

An English mother tongue Student, following NLP or Computational Linguistics
Courses. 

 

The remuneration is to be defined depending on qualifications.

The position will start in January / February, for a minimal 4-month
duration, in Paris (FRANCE).

 

2. Linguist in Chinese

We are looking for a linguist to participate to the adaptation of our
syntactic parser for Chinese Tongue.

Collaborating with the Head of the Linguistics Department at VirtuOz
SA, you will be in charge of :

- Establishing an inventory of the needs

- Researching the appropriate linguistics resources in Chinese

- Enoncing parsing rules for the Chinese analyzer and training.

- Organizing Validation Tests, for example in translating an existing
French Chatterbot into Chinese.

 

You must have a very good command of Chinese, including linguistic
knowledge.

You are familiar with Natural Language Processing (NLP), or you are
sensible to Computational Linguistics.

Practical sense, creativity and seriousness would be appreciated.

 

Two ideal qualifications would be : 

A Chinese tongue Student, learning French typically in "FLE" or "LEA"
courses, who can prove past experiences in Computer Science or
Linguistics.
