For our headquarter in Vienna we are looking for an experienced
ENGINEER IN STATISTICAL MACHINE TRANSLATION (SMT) AND NATURAL LANGUAGE
PROCESSING (NLP) APPLICATIONS (M/W)

 

Your Job

- Participate in R&D efforts on data-driven machine translation
  applications for technical domains

- Evaluate current statistical machine translation technologies

- and test them on large-scale technical data

- Manage internal or external applied research projects in this area

 

Your Profile

- PhD or Masters degree in computer science Experience with
  statistical machine translation engines (e.g. MOSES platform) and
  large-scale applications

- Hands-on experience in development of text processing and natural
  language processing systems

- Programming skills in Java, C++ and scripting languages Development
  experience on Linux and Windows platforms Fluency in English
  (working language), good skills in another major European language
  and possibly skills in one major Asiatic language

- Ability to work in multilingual environment
