Job description: STAFF MANAGER FOR ARABIC

We are looking for a language manager for our team of transcribers and
subcontractors for Arabic. He/she will be the reference for technical
and linguistic issues. The expected tasks include:

- to manage the collection of audio data (from phone conversations)

- to write, validate and update documents on transcription conventions

- to supervise the team of transcribers (internal and outside
  contractors)


This position requires rigor, initiative, autonomy and sense of
responsibility.

You speak perfectly Arabic and some dialects.

You have training as a linguist (Bachelor's degree minimum) and 1-2
years experience. You know how to work under Linux (commands, but no
development). You have actively taken part in team-run projects.

We offer an 18-month contract
The position is available immediately.
