Dear Madam or Sir,

We are glad to inform you of the selection of the topics of the Call
2012 of the CHIST-ERA ERA-Net, to be published in October (TBC). In this
transnational call for research proposals, two new and hot topics are
addressed:


1.       Intelligent User Interfaces

2.       User-driven, Context- and Content-aware, Communication Networks


n  Conference Announcement
The keywords and the examples in the Flyer attached are given as
illustration only. To refine the scientific content of the Call, the
CHIST-ERA Conference 2012 in Edinburgh (UK), July 5-6, will bring
together scientists and CHIST-ERA representatives in order to identify
and formulate promising scientific and technological challenges at the
frontier of research in the domain of the Call topics.

The Conference is based on a number of high-level keynote talks by
internationally renowned specialists. In addition, all the attendees are
encouraged to participate in the definition of the call's text, as far
as is possible, with a short talk or a poster presentation.
