Un séminaire en l'honneur de Hans KAMP se tiendra à Nancy à l'occasion
de la remise du titre de Doctor Honoris Causa de l'Université de
Lorraine.

Hans Kamp (Johan Anthony Willem Kamp) est un philosophe, linguiste, et
logicien néerlandais. Ses travaux en sémantique formelle et plus
particulièrement sa théorie des représentations discursives (Discourse
Representation Theory) sont largement utilisés tant en linguistique
qu'en informatique dans le cadre du traitement automatique de la langue.

Le séminaire portera sur la sémantique du discours, en particulier sur
les questions de structure et de dynamique, à partir de la DRT.

Le séminaire se tiendra en salle internationale de la MSH-Lorraine.
Les présentations seront faites en anglais.

Le séminaire est organisé par les Archives Poincaré, le LORIA et l'ATILF
et il est soutenu par la MSH-Lorraine, l'Université de Lorraine, le CNRS
et l'INRIA.

La participation est libre mais l'inscription est obligatoire.

A workshop in honor of Hans KAMP will be held on the occasion of the 
award of a Doctor Honoris Causa degree from the University of Lorraine.

Hans Kamp (Johan Anthony Willem Kamp) is a Dutch philosopher, linguist
and logician. His work in formal semantics, most notably his Discourse
Representation Theory, is widely used both in linguistics and in natural
language processing.

The workshop will focus on discourse semantics, especially on issues of
its structure and dynamics, based on DRT.

The workshop will be held in the International Room of the MSH-Lorraine.
Talks will be in English.

The workshop is organised by Archives Poincaré, LORIA and ATILF, and it
is supported by MSH-Lorraine, Université de Lorraine, CNRS and INRIA.
