We say aa thae things in the sooth o Scotland an aa. What A'm askin for is
the wey fowk (no native Scots spaekers) seems tae aye write things like
"'twis", "'twere" &c in Scots. A tak it tho, that if you an Andy hinna heard
it aither, syne it's no Scots!
Seems tae me that some fowk thinks ye can git awa wi contractin _onything_
in Scots!
