dear lowlanders,

I am recently working on a project dealing with large
bilingual corpora.

does there exist an English-Low German or German-LG
corpus with at least 1 mio entries anywhere in the web ?
or some translated books, collections of poems or anything
similar ?

NB:
Dear Ron, although I know that you always prefer "Low Saxon"
as the name of the language, but in my point of view this is
as wrong as "Low German":
"Low German" might divide the Netherland's Platt-speakers from the
German, but "Low Saxon" does the same with the Eastern German !

Be^ste Dirk,

Better net to witten is der amper hwat op dit me^d to finen.
Ik tink dat op dit stuit it ynternet net it meast gaadlike
plak is om Midfrysk en Aldfrysk to bistudearjen. Gewoan boeken
keapje liket my de koartse klap, byg. by de Fryske Akademy
is noch wol wat to bisetten. Dit binne allegear tekstu'tjeften,
dus meast su^nder kommintaar derby. Ast der oankomme kinst
is it a^lde (antikwarysk noch wol te bisetten, tink) boekje
fan Buma "fan alra Fresena frisdome". Dat jout noch in soad
eftergrounynformaasje, neist in bihindige grammatika, en
teksten mei oersetting derby.

Mar ast al hwat fynst, lit it u's allegear efkes witte!
