An example of 5 negatives heard in a song.
I ain't never doing nothing for nobody notime.
I ain't never got nothing from nobody notime.
This is a famous song from the early part of the century by the famous
minstrel singer, Bert Williams. The source is African-American, so the
language itself may be an example of African-American Vernacular English with
some role in the double negative played by Plantation Creole.
I have also heard the word <<noway>> used in such phrases. The speakers came
from the Appalachian speech area and so may be directly linked to a Lowlands
dialect. << I ain't never done no such a thing noway>> or << nohow>>.
