Jorge and others,

I had often wondered, as a Spanish speaker who "gets by" in Dutch, why there
appeared to be so few Dutch loanwords in Spanish given that the Spanish ruled
the Netherlands for quite a long time during "la edad de oro". I was very
pleased to read this list, and would be interested to hear more about it.
