Complicated in Scots by the fact that 'freind' traditionally means
'relative'. In Shetlandic there is the term 'bluidfreend' which makes it
explicit, but in my experience 'freend' is used with this meaning.

Subject: Bicycle terminology
Leewe Plautdietsch Läsa:
I am compiling a glossary for the the anatomy of a bicycle, and beg
anyone's help. Is there a German cyclist on the list? The terms in both
German and Plautdietsch of which I'm not sure (and am guessing), are marked
by an asterisk.
