I was a bit puzzled by this statistic so I looked through my World Almanac.
I found only 5 countries which might be considered "ethnically
homogeneous" - North Korea, South Korea, Iceland, Portugal, Tuvalu - but it
may be that these countries do not collect the necessary data. I also
noticed, however, that there was no simple, consistent definition of
ethnicity. The Irish Republic has its tinkers and the residue of the
Protestant Ascendancy. Are they "ethnic minorities"?
