We have added an other map to our pages about languages and dialects in
Belgium:

The new map (Rheinischer Fächer) on page:
http://www.euro-support.be/langbel/mapger2.htm
helps to situate Limburgish in the transition area between Low and
Middele German in the West.

So it illustrates the relation of Limburgish to the South, while the
map, we referred to last week:

positions it to the East.

I made one more addition to my pages about dialects in Belgium

Starting from the URLs at the bottom of page
http://www.euro-support.be/langbel/mapdutch.htm
containing itself a reduced size sketch of the van Ginneken map, you can
get the complete large scale map, in full color, scanned in 6 parts.
These parts are about 4 Mb in total. Since I ran out of space at the
planet internet server I had to ftp them to my webspace at the uunet
server.
