Dear Lowlanders,

Following Andy Eagle's latest suggestions/corrections ("erring" on the
conservative side wherever applicable), I have now updated the PDF files at
the "Auld Lang Syne" web pages:

That's because in the meanwhile I had changed the files to prevent the font
loading error.  Thanks to Ted's explanations, I think that next time I post
PDF files with "exotic" contents I will know how to prevent such problems by
properly embedding all fonts used.  It gives us a chance to post material that
cannot easily be displayed otherwise.  Andy's articles on Scots phonology
(http://www.scots-online.org/airticles/phonology.pdf,
http://www.scots-online.org/airticles/ulster.pdf) being another good example.

By the way, thanks for displaying your web pages
(http://www.scots-online.org/) using Unicode, Andy.  It works beautifully.
