En hoe zit het met het verschijnsel van toonverschillen? Ik heb ooit ergens
gelezen (al weet ik nu niet meer waar) dat dit als criterium voor het
onderscheid Brabants/Limburgs zou gelden. Als je dit toepast, zou de grens
net voorbij America liggen, en het dialect van Venray (dat in de provincie
Limburg ligt) een Brabants dialect zijn.

Is dit criterium één van de vele, of werd het ooit als criterium gebruikt,
maar nu niet meer? (Of lees ik boeken die onzin verkondigen? :-) )
