_Kinnerriemels ut Westfoalen_, Warendorf: Schnellsche Buchhandlung, 1920:

A - ba.
Ater - bater,
Ene - bene,
Hokes - pokes,
Äppelken - päppelken
Rubbelke - bubbelke,
Heia - popeia,
Holler - diboller.

Äppelken = little apple
Päppelken = little poplar
(H)eia-popeia = (traditional in lullabies)
