Jazeker, die umlauting gebeurt ook in andere Nederlandse dialecten (nog
afgezien van de Nedersaksische en Limburgse). Voorzover ik weet is
'veur' vrij standaard in het Nederlandse Noord-Brabant. Lokaal, bapaald
niet algemeen, wordt 'veur' ook in het Zeeuws gebruikt (meestal is het
'vôôr').

Sorry, this was a typing error of mine.
One should read "streike" in the Brusdsels version.

Gifft 't 'n Dialektkaart, up de /vor/ ~ /vör/ wiest wardt?  (Ick neem an,
dat dat lange /o/ in standert-nedderlandsch _voor_ 'n Fall vun phonoloogsch
Verlängern is.  (Lengthening of vowels before liquids and nasals in Dutch
and Low Saxon).

Kann 'n denn seggen, dat bloots dat Uutluuds-R to'n Vokaal wardt, as in't
Neddersassische/Nedderdüütsche?  Is dat ook in annere Nedderlandsche
Dialekten so?
