     De mehrsten mank Ju kinnt al us Liddmaat Clara Kramer-Freudenthal,
mien "Tant Clara," de ehr Vertellen un Riemels in't Ollanner "Platt" ik
faken hier un up't Nett bröcht heff.  Nu bün ik gistern wies worren, dat de
Dokters bi ehr Bostkreeft funnen hebbt.  Se schall an'n Dunnersdag, den 5.
Oostermaand, in't Sükenhuus to'n Opereern.  Vundagigendaags köönt de
Mediziners 'n Barg doon bi Bostkreeft, un daarwegen schullen wi nich foorts
an't Leegste dinken.  Liekers maakt wi us Sorgen, tomaal se al 81 Jahr old
is un wat mit'n Harten hett.  Se hett mi verklaart, dat ehr Gloov' ehr
Knööf un Kraasch geeft.  Se hett mi Verlööf geven, dat ik dat künnig maken
dröff.  Nu will ik Ju alltohoop beden 'n beten wat Energie för ehr un ehr
Lüüd' to spennen, elk een up sien/ehr egene Wies', mit Gedanken, Beden,
Wünschen, Schrieven, etc.  Wielt se in't Sükenhuus is schall ik mit ehr
över annere Minschen Verbinnen hebben, un ik will 't Ju berichten, wenn 't
wat to berichten gifft.  Ehr Adress etc. find Ji ünnen.  Emails an ehr

Dear Lowlanders,
     Most of you are already familiar with our member Clara
Kramer-Freudenthal, my "Tant Clara," whose stories and poems in her Olland
(Altes Land) "Platt" (Low Saxon/Low German) I have been passing on here and
on the web.  Yesterday I learned that she has been diagnosed with breast
cancer.  On Thursday, April 5, she will be admitted to a hospital for
surgery.  These days a lot can be done in cases of breast cancer; so we
ought not think of the worst.  Nevertheless, we are worried, because she is
already 81 years old and has a heart condition.  She explained to me that
her belief gives her strength and courage.  She gave me permission to pass
on the news.  Today I would like to request that all of you donate a bit of
energy for her and her family's benefit, each one in his/her own way, with
thoughts, prayers, wishes, messages, etc.  While she is in the hospital, I
will be in contact with her via intermediaries, and I will pass onto you
any news there might be.  Below you will find her address etc.  After April
5 you may send to my address any email messages addressed to her.
     Get well soon, Tant Clara!
