Düütschland as Staat gifft dat je noch nich lang, ook nich dat Dwelen
twüschen de leeglandschen Rebeden un dat Rebeed, dat wi nu as
"Noorddüütschland" kennt.  So lang is dat nich her, dat de Minschen
twüschen Flannern, de Nedderlannen un Noorddüütschland hin un hertrocken
sünd. Spraaklich un kulturell was dat gaarnich swaar för jüm, was dat
man een Rebeed, as Noorddüütschland noch nich so verdüütscht was un up
düsse Wies' vun sien Süsterkulturen in d'n Westen verfrömdt wöör.  In de
Nedderlannen is Land al jümmers knapp west, un darüm sünd 'n Barg
Nedderlanners un ook Flamen na Oosten to trocken un hebbt jüm ehr egenen
Dörper anfungen, t.B. Fredrikstadt (Friedrichstadt) in Sleswig-Hulsteen,
Gemenen in't Ole Land an de Nedderelv', üm Berlin rüm, ook in d'n
feernen Oosten.  De Vörvadders vun de Mennoniten kemen ook uut de
Nedderlannen na Oosten, wiel dat de "Hollanners" jüm vunwegen jüm ehr
Religioon nastellen.
