Cedric,
It is basically "follow", though can be used in
conjunction with a following verb to mean "continue
...ing".
Anyway, the "segue", as someone else pointed out, is
unmistakably Italian, not Spanish, both in form and
pronunciation (seg-way=Italian, Spanish is "sigue"
pronounced "see-gay").
