I think that IJP and I are saying very similar things, albeit with a
difference of emphasis.
However, there's one point that I should make again, in case I haven't
made it adequately already. It's true that SNP voters are much more in
evidence among Scots-language groups, although (with exceptions) actual
SNP *politicians* don't really pay too much attention to this particular
language issue.
However - and this is the point I want to emphasise - I don't believe
that this predominance prevents the movement from being inclusive of
those who aren't themselves of that persuasion. That's because, in
the end, it *is* just a persuasion, rather than a matter of
ethnic/religious/cultural identity as seems to be the case in Ireland.
