Thanks for yet another fascinating mailing Sandy. I have read that the
Gaelic was also spoken in the Galloway area with allegations that
Jacobite
troops during the '45 wre able to communicate in th elanguage with
locals.
Is ther the slightest truth in this claim ? I have always been a wee
bittie leer o' it.
