Your German's so good that it even influences your English (I think,
CMIIW): Dieses "das habe ich akustisch nicht verstanden" erscheint
mir ein typisch deutscher Ausdruck zu sein. From my Dutch
background, I never really understood what exactly they meant by it,
but you made it clearer to me now.
