Dear Ron,
In Flemish we say  "knopke / knopka" or "knoptje".
There is  also "ne knop" plural: knop'n.

I cannot give an answer to your question, but let me ask a very tiny
thing about your message question. Dutch "knop" originally was a sphere
shaped object (on a pin) to open things like drawers and doors or to use
as a switch, and this later became to mean also to a button to press on
machines. Dutch "knoop" is knot, but also a button on clothes. Which of
the ones is meant with Russian _knopka_?

I found the following glosses under _knopka_ (кнопка):

1. key

2. knob

3. pin

4. push-button

5. push-pin

6. snap

7. stud

Under _pugovica_ (пуговица) I found only 'button'.

In a word, I'm not sure and leave it to someone more knowledgeable.  I have
a feeling that _pugovica_ corresponds to Dutch and LS _knoop_.
