Dear Reinhard,

I was cut off on the reply so if you get a weird truncated message, please
excuse. I was writing that if anyone wanted to cavil about transition
changes, in software,they ought tospend a few days running the site. It
becomes one's life.

I just got a book from Amazon. THE SCOTS DIALECT DICTIONARY Compiled by
Alexander Warrack MA. It is a 2000 reprint by Waverley Books Ltd of New
Lanark, Scotland.  ISBN: 1 902407 09 1. Scots to English. 671 Pages. It is
really an excellent book. It was under 10 dollars as I remember [the postage
was more than the book was] The extent of the vocabulary is pretty amazing.
I would suspect a lot of the Lallans and Doric folk out there don't know it
is available. It is a good buy for the range of vocabulary.
