Hi Lowlanders,
Thanks for the many reactions to my question about
pre-I.-E. languages. Special thanks to Ron and Pat
for the leads (which I had no time to pick up yet).
Another detail of the article came back to my memory
(if it adds anything to the subject):
It said that the I.-E. invaders where dark-haired,
dark-eyed and that the Europeans of today with fair
complexion (light eyes and hair) are all genetic remnants
of pre-I.-E. populations (...?...).
