Subject: backDoor.optix Tojan

There is a Trojan ( bit like a virus - but different ) going round at the
moment called:

backDoor.optix

This is not a hoax.  I was alerted to it by my nephew -who said he had
it -and what should he do about it. I went onto Norton's site at to check it
was a Trojan -and it is. Updated Norton will fix it - as will latest update
of AVG ( free from www.grisoft.com ). I did an updated my own copy of AVG
and did a scan -and found I had it the Trojan as well.   I must have
relieved it recently as I had done a scan only a few days before and it
found nothing - so it seems to be recently circulating. AVG mended it for
me.
