Subject: resources

I have added page
http://home-13.tiscali-business.nl/%7Etpm09245/dutch/diates/diates.htm
to my pages about writing Dutch in the Southern Netherlands.

For this case I could combine the "Old-Dutch handwriting", "Old-Dutch
transcription" and "translation into English".

It is an except from a "bible harmony" (a combination of the 4 gospels,
merged somehow) in Southern Dutch of the 13th cenntury.

Some words as "wijf, kinnebak" belong to abusive language in my Limburgish
variant (West-Limburgish from Vliermaal) nowadays.

Other comments:
The reflexive pronoum is not "zich" as in Dutch, but in this case (3d p.
masc.) "hem", as in West-Limburgish (and in more Southern dialects):
"Ende Peeter ghinc hem staen wermen "
"En Petrus ging zich staan warmen."

Regards,

Roger
