Hi Peter,

Fortunately, there is an almost automatic way of adding the | to the
word list. It goes as follows:
(1) separate the German and Saterfrisian words like this:

Mathieu,
One more question....
schreien schräiwe, schreeuwe, galpje, kriete, broaskje, gilpje, gülpe, kr
äie, bläärje; laut ~ galpe, gierje; ~ v.
Schweine gierje, roagje; ~des Kind Kräier (di)

The swung dash (~) is used as a repetition of the main word. Do I
seperate the German and Saterfrisian in these cases
like this....

schreien
schräiwe, schreeuwe, galpje, kriete, broaskje, gilpje, gülpe, kräie, bläär
je;
laut ~
galpe, gierje;
~ v. Schweine
gierje, roagje;
~des Kind
Kräier (di)

Cheers

Subject: 16th-Century Dutch-Javanese and Dutch-Japanese Dictionaries

Greetings,

Does anyone know of any dictionaries of Dutch ("from the expansion
period")/Javanese and Dutch/Japanese from the Dutch
occupation of Dejima Island off Nagasaki? (In spite of my recent posting
on Southern language varieties, I am, as you may have
guessed, an Asianist by training. . . . Every group needs one, I guess!
Ha!)

I would appreciate any help any members might be able to offer. My many
thanks.

Gruesse, Cheers,

Jim Wren
