about bourgondie

that tribe came from the island of burgundholm, or born holm I'm told.

(And not to forget:
Bourgogne in France.  Comes from the "Bourgonden"
Perhaps  " buren+strijd"(E: neighbours + battle))

So I guess now we know why they left their island....
