Subject: Virus alert

Apparently some people have received a message masquerading as coming
from this account, and apparently it is connected with the Virus
"Bugbear."  Do not open it!  Just delete it!  I am investigating the
matter in the meantime.  So far I have not found a virus on my computer
despite having the latest protective software.  I assume the offending
message originated from someone I recently wrote to.  Given the subject
line (Celtic connections), it was someone on the List.

Angeblich haben einige eine mit meiner Absenderaddresse versehenen Mail
erhalten, die mit dem Virus "Bugbear" verbunden ist.  Nicht öffnen!
Einfach löschen!  I gehe inzwischen der Sache nach.  Bis jetzt habe ich
noch keinen Virus in meinem Computer gefunden, habe aber die neueste
Schutz-Software.  Ich nehme an, die Mail kam von jemanden, dem ich vor
kurzer Zeit geschrieben habe.  Der Themenüberschrift (Celtic
connections) nach zu urteilen, kam sie von einem Listenmitglied.
