The book: "Views a-foot : or Europe seen with knapsack and staff" by
Bayard Taylor (with a preface by N.P. Willis) was, as far as I can tell,
first published 1n 1848 by Alden publ. in New York. The only copy that I
can locate in the Netherlands is in the library of the Katholieke
Universiteit Nijmegen. Hope this is of some help.
