Dear Lowlanders,

Unfortunately, our technical problems are continuing.  I can send mail from
this account, but no mail arrives at it.  I am sure this is almost as great
a nuisance for you as for me.  I apologize for the inconvenience.

Until this problem has been solved, please send your posting submissions to
my private address: sassisch at yahoo.com .  (I hope it will not immediately
swamp my mailbox.)  I will let you know when you can start sending posting
submissions to the usual address again.

Since yesterday's administrative message we have been joined by folks from
