Aa this means is that the'r a schwa in't the wey I say it.

Ther micht, for aa I ken, be plenty dialecks whaur this disna apply, sae I
wadna chainge the order o the letters like you'r suggestin juist for that.

Forby, the'r a schwa in "jabble" the wey I say'd, sae I'd hae tae write it
"jabbel". Syne I hae tae start writin "bubbel", "muckel" an aa that.

Sae the answer's na!

Below please find amended and added portions of our current project of an
Old Irish poem, following my English translation reposted for the benefit
for those who joined us during the last couple of days.  My Dutch and
Afrikaans versions have not changed since I last posted them.

   the reddened bracken

   took hold of the chill,
   the wings of the bird,
   the icy time ...
   these are my tidings.
