Beste Floor,

voor zover ik weet komt dit verschijnsel in zo'n beetje heel Brabant ook
voor. Op de website van het Woordenboek van de Brabantse Dialecten geeft de
gratis zoekfunctie (alhoewel niet enorm gebruiksvriendelijk) ontelbare
voorbeelden van 'weps' of 'perreweps' (paardenwesp) voor het
standaardnederlandse 'wesp', en ook veelvuldig 'risp' of 'rusp' voor 'rups'.
Het is -door de 'wetenschappelijke' opbouw van de zoekfunctie- vrij
tijdrovernd om uit te zoeken in welke gebieden de bovenstaande voorbeelden
worden gebruikt, maar zeker is dat deze 'ps' in het héle Brabantse gebied
voorkomt (inclusief Vlaams-Brabant).
